hello all. i'm sure you guys would be rather surprised that i've actually written an entry in here. i don't know how to start actually but i'll try anyways. well firstly, i hope everyone has had a good holiday despite all your hectic schedules and stuffs. not being in the band for quite sometime has made me miss it already. haha. anyways, i've observed in one way or another that the band has actually managed to adapt to the current situation with the new leaders in charge. that's a good thing. i might be wrong about it. so, don't blame me! .

haha. i believe that the leaders have quite a good job in instilling the discipline and i'm sure most of them are trying hard to bring the band to greater heights too. so, continue to keep up the good work! . well, if you guys have observed, i've been coming back to band for quite a number of times already; to see how you guys are doing and also to do some assisting with the stuffs that i'm still "in-charge" of like the CCA website competition.

hmm .. National Band Competition is coming soon already. i hope you guys are really preparing for the competition. i'm sure there have been improvements in both your set and choice pieces, Colonel Bogey and Variations On A Korean Folk Song. however, in my opinion, i feel that the playing is still rather average. i'm not trying to bring you guys down or anything. but yeah, that's what i feel; judging from the few combine sessions that i've listened to. and i've heard some parts of your choice piece yesterday when i came back for a visit. in some way or another, i still feel that you guys have not worked hard enough and give it your all. and mr yeo even had to ask you guys to really focus and concentrate during combine sessions. hmm.. i'm not trying to be some critic here but yeah. i hope you guys get what i mean.

i'm sure everyone will be saying like, "oh, i've already tried my best what. what do you expect me to do if my skills are lousy?", or something equivalent to that. haha, i'm sure you guys know the word practise. so, you guys should really work hard for the competition in order to achieve success. and i'm not saying that everyone didn't put in effort. but rather, its more to working hard and trying to achieve the best out of what can be done. as it has been said in previous posts, everyone has to work together in order to achieve something fruitful.

remember the band motto, "All For One, One For All" and peishi's acronym of TEAM[Together Everyone Achieves More] . think about it okay? i don't want to say too much here. but i really hope that the band give their best effort to the few practices before NBC.

okay lah, i don't want to be such a nag. haha, who am i to comment anyway? all i have to say is, persevere and work hard during these last few practices for your upcoming competition to achieve success! all the best for the competition! i'll see you guys again sometime (:
